I went in search of golden yellow canola's and instead found fields of green for as far as the eye can see. It was a little strange to see the countryside so so green. This little falling down shack is a favourite for photographers and I'm not sure if i like it better surrounded by the yellows of canola or the greens of barley.
The might and power of the Mossman River ebbing its way over and under the rocks, winding it's way through the gorge eventually ending up in the Coral Sea. The clarity of the water is truly amazing!
The beautiful waters of the Mareeba wetlands, a 5000 acre Reserve of significant regional biodiversity value, created in 1994 by using using overflow water exiting the Mareeba-Dimbulah Irrigation Area.
